Our volunteers are a valuable group of people who share an interest in history, aviation and/or a love for flying machines. We all work hard to preserve, restore and display all things related to the evolution of flight. We strive to develop a fraternal spirit among the region's antique aircraft enthusiasts and to provide a forum for the exchange of aircraft history and information
As a non-profit, volunteers are our only source of manpower and the hard work put in by so many of our volunteers allows for greater input and collaboration, leading to a better museum for our community.
There are many volunteer opportunities, but if you have a passion or see a need for something more, please do not hesitate to propose an idea. The museum is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10-3 and Saturdays and Sundays 11-4, unless otherwise noted.
We are always looking for people to act as Docents, help with Displays, Repair and Hang Model Airplanes, Help with Engine Maintenance and Airplane Restoration, have an affinity for Woodworking; as well as those who enjoy filing, cleaning, and organizing. Previous aviation experience is not necessary.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact the museum at 408-683-2290, drop by on a day we are open or visit our Contacts page and Click Contact Form. Be sure to put "Volunteer" in the subject line.
