The goal of the restoration shop is to get antique aircraft back to flying condition, when possible, using original blueprints and methods of construction.
The restoration shop is home to a large array of tools and machinery all acquired through generous donations. Tools include a lathe, drill presses, a band saw, a bending brake, a bead blaster, shop air, an antique steel tube cut off machine many power tools and a variety of hand tools.

- 1930 Peel Z-1 Glider Boat – on loan from the National Soaring Museum
- 1940 Security S1-B “Airster”. This plane is the focus of an active restoration project.
